Help Farmers for the Holidays.

GIVE FARMERS THE POWER TO FIGHT HUNGER–FOR GOOD!

Fight Famine
Feed Families
From Poverty to Prosperity

Will you help equip farmers in Kenya and Rwanda with life-changing irrigation pumps and training? With your help, they can increase their crop yield 400%, growing enough to feed their families and neighbors.

This holiday season, we hope to help 535 farming families. Every penny will make a difference:

  • $25 feeds a family.
  • $247 gives one farmer access to irrigation and training. They can then feed 50 neighbors in need.
  • $1,200 hires one Irrigation Agent to launch a "Rent to Try and Buy" business for farmers who need it most.

Together, we can combat hunger, prevent famine, and cultivate a future of lasting change.

Why your support is essential

Hunger Crisis

In Africa, hunger has worsened due to climate change, global food shortages, and rising prices.

Over 70% of families in sub-Saharan Africa depend on small-scale farming for survival. Yet, millions are trapped in cycles of poverty and hunger due to dependence on unreliable rainfall, small plot sizes, and limited access to modern tools and resources.

Not just a drop in a bucket

The best way to feed people is to help local farmers grow more food. With your help, the average farmer feeds 50 people.

How your gift helps farmers

An irrigation pump allows farmers to grow and sell when they couldn’t before. They can also sell their crops at a higher price in the “dry” season when crops are scarce. This results in improved food and income sustainability throughout the year.

Seed for growing impact

One irrigation pump can lift a farmer and his family out of poverty and into the middle class in as little as one harvest. On average, each farmer grows enough to sell produce to 50 community members and earns enough to send one child to school for the first time.

Game-Changer for Farmers

An irrigation pump can water a quarter-acre plot in two and a half hours. This is significantly easier and faster than “bucket farming” (when farmers use a bucket to collect water from a shallow well and pour it on their crops).

Growing Opportunities

With irrigation, a farmer's crop yield grows 400% in one harvest. Suddenly, they are growing enough to sell, plus hiring a neighbor to help on the farm!

Serious Income Boost

Your generosity isn't a drop in the bucket. You will help a farmer move from earning an average of $120 to $850 each year!
